EEE’ing the World….WHAT!? EEEEE is a sound, a sight, a scent, a taste, a feeling, an Extraordinarily Ebullient Experience – that particular onomatopoeia which crosses communication barriers no matter where you are in THE WORLD to Express Existent, Emotional Elation. EEEEE IS...

EEEvolving – EEEtheWorld

Hellooo.

It’s beeen a long while since I have beeen active on EEEtheWorld. Since February, I’ve dedicated myself to my new role as Development Manager at Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center BOEC, teaching sustainability courses at Colorado Mountain College, and spending quality time in nature with Ryan and the pups. This has left little time to post. I have beeen journaling often, which usually takes the place of the blog. You know meee, I lovE lovE lovE the therapy of swirly curly cursive on a page instead of screeen time. But, I am back for the foreseeeable future.

This has left little time to post. I have beeen journaling often, which usually takes the place of the blog. You know meee, I lovE lovE lovE the therapy of swirly curly cursive on a page instead of screeen time. But, I am back for the foreseeeable future.

I’ve beeen playing with a reeevaluation of this blog beeeing worth it since I have not posted all summer (or fall for that matter since we already have 3in of snow up here in Dillon at 9,176 ft). So, in order to bring value to myself and the communitEEE, I am making a commitment to write 3 times a week.

A couple really inspiring, soul-shaking things that move meee lately include the following:

~Contemplation of the past 5 years and significant stages of EEE:

* Eat. Educate. Explore the world... (the original)–> *Evolve.Experience.Enliven.Enjoy.Enthuse.Etc… (all the eee adjectives, and where Instagram is still stuck) –> *Environment.Equity.Economy...(known as the 3E’s of sustainability and what I teach/preach)–> *Experience the world. Evolve yourself. Engage your community… (This was the rebrand in February 2019)–> *Eat for the Earth Everyone… (This is a recent idea which ties into my new plan about eating a mostly plant based diet among other things that make meee, meee!)

EEEtheWorld

So I am not really sure where to go. But instead of worrying about where this is going or the theme and vision, I think I just need to stick what inspires meee. And write about that. 3 times a week.

It’s that simple. So I will beee back later this week with a lot of catch up on what’s kept meee groovin the past 9 months.

Lots of love, Hallieee

Something I am Proud of Accomplishing – EEEtheWorld

Something I am Proud of Accomplishing

My last day at HC3 is tomorrow (wrote this on 1/27/19). I’ve learned so much about leadership, outreach, waste reduction, sustainable food, energy efficiency, and water conservation through my work there the past year and a half as community programs coordinator. What I will miss most of all is sharing all of what I’ve learned with the kids. Seeing the impact of teaching and sustainable action like good scrap recycling in front of my eyes is something I’m very proud of. I’m also very grateful for the teachers, administrators, kitchen staff, and custodians who work tirelessly every day to keep food out of our landfill. Great thanks are also due to Recycle Across America for sponsoring labels for our school district. Here are recent photos of the progress. Keep of the great work SVE, DVE, and UBE. You’re setting great examples for the entire district!

Letter to Demma

Demma My Dear,

I cannot express to you how meaningful our conversation was the other day. I am confident you are taking steps in your life to get to an optimal, joyful point. It's not always easy and happiness is never constant, it arrives in moments that you have to treasure.

Although I've never been dedicated to one religion, I am a very spiritual person. For me, that intersection of peace and acceptance of yourself, and the closeness with Mother Nature or God or the Holy Spirit or whatever you want to call it, is ever-present up here, and I have an inkling that it will be for you too. Come... And maybe this is the something you are seeking.

In all my travels and education and experiences the one thing I have learned is simple, joyful, connectedness is what matters most. No matter where you are in the world, or what circumstances are present in your life, you can find this within you. It is not necessarily moving here that will bring you all the answers, but sometimes a change, albeit a physical move across the country, can serve as that catalyst whispering understanding within you and bringing self-righteous perspective on a grander scale.

To help you evaluate if a move to Colorado is the best next step for you, here are some resources/ links / books etc...:

University of Denver the Korbel School of International Studies

connections to Korbel ambassadors

**Most of these people have graduated, so I can reach out to see who new ambassadors are.

Are you on linked? I can facilitate an introduction via Facebook messenger too!

good things to know before moving to Denver:

Really think about what you want to do:
Scott Dinsmore live your Legend Pack which spurred me to find my true calling!!!
(This is why I quit my job, traveled (read that!), got into my grad program, and arrived in Summit County working for HC3!!!)

A couple books of inspiration:
Jen Sincero, You are a BadAss
I also read Sarah Young’s Jesus Calling every morning because this helps center me with the bigger brighter mystery of this all.

This is where Ryan and I just moved: DILLON COLORADO!!
Come play with us :)

I also have a story for you Demma, the day after we spoke I was hiking in Boulder County and sat on a rock to meditate and pray for you and when I turned around, I'm not joking there was a humongous Young Buck. (I took a picture!)

I'm not sure if you believe in signs or Spirit Animals but I do and this is what the Young Buck means:
Only when we move through life in the spirit of love for all beings can we melt the barriers that separate us from others, from other life forms, and from the beautiful mystery which is our own magical and spiritual gift.
-Deer

I thought this instance was cool; take it for what it's worth to you my deer :)

YOU ARE ONE YOUR WAY!

See you in Colorado soon!
All my love,
Hallie

Thailand Itinerary intro

My love for Thailand cannot be squeezed into a time period; Thus, instead of this itinerary being a planned tour over a set amount of days, I will touch on the highlights of places I've visited and how to get there. This way, you can take responsibility for planning your trip around your schedule.

First off, congratulations for choosing a friendly, prospering, scintillating country with deep cultural roots, delicious cuisine and breathtaking environments. In Thailand you can adventure, find inner zen, or party your pants off from beaches to mountaintops!

Here are a few Thailand pics to spark your excitement:

In addition to the "Thai Experience Buffet" I will also outline a couple of considerations to prepare before, during and after your trip.

Have a fantastic journey! My wish for you is to experience the simplicity, connectedness and joy that Thailand has brought to my soul.

If at any point you have any questions, please never hesitate to contact me at EEEtheworld@gmail.com. I'm happy to talk Thailand anytime.

All I ask in return for creating this adventure list with you is that you share it with your e-world and subscribe to EEEtheworld.com here as well as like the facebook page here: www.facebook.com/EEEtheworld
